The second, decisive advantage that you have as an MMA bettor over bookmakers is the following: In contrast to the "big" sports already mentioned several times, MMA does not yet have such well-engineered systems to calculate the odds. The calculation of odds is a highly complicated mathematical process, in which a number of statistics are calculated using computer algorithms, then corrected again by factors such as injuries, form, etc. and at the end there is a probability that is then converted into the respective odds format and the profit margin is added. UFC & MMA betting types

The aim of this section is to explain the different types of bets that are available for MMA bets and at the same time to address their advantages and disadvantages. We hope this will help our readers better understand and be more successful when betting on UFC and MMA.

Easy win "Money Line"

This is a bet on the winner of the fight, regardless of the winning method. The different victories in MMA are as follows: victory by KO, victory by TKO (technical knockout), victory by submission / abandonment of the opponent, victory by disqualification d. Opponent and of course victory by point decision. In all of these types the bet is won if the chosen MMA fighter wins.

Although extremely rare, there can be two other outcomes of the fight:

• Draw / Tie: Both fighters have the same number of points in the end, the win bet is then unfortunately lost
• No contest / no decision: In some situations, usually when one of the MMA fighters is unable to continue fighting due to an unintentional foul, a so-called no contest occurs. In this case, all betting providers tested by us give back the stake.
