The Phoenix Suns came into this Playoff ready to go one step further than last year when they failed to win the NBA Championship even though they had a 2-0 lead in the Finals series.

They are ready for that as Devin Booker returned to court after suffering a hamstring injury in Game 2 of the opening playoff series against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Suns are dominating the series against the Mavericks so far as they were able to close both games strong by not giving any chance to the Mavericks. Luka Doncic is a player that they cannot stop but they are doing excellent job on limiting the impact of the rest of the Mavericks team.

Booker and Chris Paul are always on their level but what is even more encouraging for coach Monty Williams is the game of the starting center Deandre Ayton. He is taking advantage of the limited big men of the Mavericks and is making the key difference in the series.

The Phoenix Suns are back in full speed after Devin Booker has fully recovered from the injury he suffered in Game 2 of the series against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Suns dominated the opening two games in the series against the Mavericks which brings them to nine consecutive wins against the 2011 NBA Champions. The Mavericks won their first series since their championship season and they will end the season there unless they find a way to be competitive against the Suns. Luka Doncic has scored 80 points in the first two games which sounds unreal but that wasn’t enough to come even close to thinking of winning in Phoenix. This is proof that the Suns are simply a better team than the Mavs who cannot keep the pace against them. The Mavs will leave everything they have on the court in Game 3 and Doncic will have another impressive performance but that will not be enough to avoid another loss.
